WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT FOOLS
Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
A fool can be defined as a person with a poor judgment.
The things which a foolish person is engrossed with shows their folly.
God gave us the word of God for our own good. The word of God has instructions for us to follow to ensure that we do not stumble at the fundamental issues of life.
Any behavior that contradicts the word of God is folly. The word of God tells us that there is neither wisdom nor counsel against the Lord.
Pro 21:30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
For instance; the word of God condones heterosexual marriages, female modesty, condemns perverse lips, condemns slandering others and many other laws that will ensure we live in peace.
On the contrary a fool does not care about the word of God or God’s commandments.
A fool goes against the word of God and that is why they are foolish. Only fools smoke pot, only fools slander others, only fools walk half naked in the streets, only fools are prideful.
The reason why people are foolish is because they have rejected the word of God. Once you reject the word of God you will remain in the congregation of fools who are headed to hell and destruction.
A foolish person hates instructions. A foolish person cannot stand wisdom and instructions.
That is why a lot of people when you tell them the dangers of engaging in a particular vile behavior they get angry and dissociate with you.
A wise person is wise because they reject folly and choose to listen to wisdom and instructions, while fools are foolish because they reject wisdom and instructions and choose to listen to foolishness.
The word of God tells us that folly is joy to a fool. It is joyous for a fool to dress like a whore, it is joyous for a fool to watch pornography, it is joyous for a fool to commit adultery, and it is joyous for a fool to get drunk.
Pro15:21 Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.
The consequences of living a foolish lifestyle is damnation. Eternal damnation awaits all sinners. The word of God tells us that the fool shall not stand in the sight of the Lord.
In order to avoid showing poor judgment we have to love and embrace the word of God because it is inspired by the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and direction on how we ought to live in this life and finally make it to the kingdom of God. Avoid the foolish and live.
