web stats analysis THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS
Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Forgiveness is something special.

Forgiveness is the state of ceasing to feel angry with somebody or a person who has done something to harm, annoy or upset you

Forgiveness is a gift from God. Our God is loving and merciful, He will always forgive each and every sinner who comes to Him with a humble and contrite heart.

We as Christians are required by God to emulate His character and also forgive those who wrong us.

No one is righteous, no not one. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. The word of God tells us that if a man says he has no sin, he or she is a liar and also calls God a liar.

Our God is Holy and the offences that we commit against Him grieve His soul because of His purity. The word of God tells us that God is a long suffering God.

Long suffering in the sense that He forebears to punish us for our sins and waits until we come to the knowledge of truth so that we can repent.

The word of God tells us that God forgives everyone who repents and remembers their iniquity no more. We as children of God are also required by God to follow his attributes and forgive those who wrong us.

We cannot sow unforgiveness to those who wrong us and reap forgiveness from God. If we sow unforgiveness to those who offend us, we will also reap unforgiveness from God.

The word of God advices us to forgive our neighbors their trespasses against us, so that our father in heaven will forgive us our sins.

The devil causes people to issue slander, and cause a lot of discord among brethren so that the offended party may develop bitterness and resentment towards the person that offended him or her and thus block the person from receiving eternal life.

A lot of people are burning in hell because they failed to forgive. Unforgiveness is a sin.

If we have to serve God peacefully we have to serve Him with a free spirit. Our hearts should be free from anger, bitterness, resentment, hatred e.t.c

We should have peace of mind in order to serve God faithfully.

We should learn to forgive those who offend us because our heavenly Father also forgives the wicked if only they come to the knowledge of truth of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and choose to repent.

The devil lies to people that it is okay to hold onto grudges but it is not okay.

Make it right with people and God as soon as possible because you do not know the day or the hour that you will die. The word of God tells us that if it is possible, live peaceably with all men.

We are required by God to live with every man in peace without developing roots of bitterness or hatred.

The real evidence that you have forgiven a person is being comfortable around that person, and being free from any form of bitterness in your heart or resentment.

When you forgive those who offend you, you set your soul free from the danger of eternal damnation and also you end up feeling joy or happy. Bitterness and rage have weight; you will not be free if you carry people in your heart.

Let go of grudges and forgive those who offend you for the well being of your soul and your eternal habitation. The power of forgiveness.
