THE GREAT WHITE THRONE OF JUDGMENT
The lord Jesus Christ seats and controls the universe from the white throne.
The angels and the saints who will make it to the kingdom of God after the tribulation period will serve and worship the creator who seats on this throne.
According to the scriptures, we see Jesus Christ being given glory as He seats at the right hand of the father.
The people who are arrayed in white robes are the saints who overcame the devil and his mark and came out of the great tribulation which hit the whole earth.
The word of God warns us of a future judgment for all sinners and reward for all saints. The great white throne of judgment is the judgment seat for sinners and the reward seat for saints.
The word of God tells us that every one of us shall stand before the throne of God and give account of the things which he or she did while in the body.
This means that for each and every action that we take here on earth we will give an account of it. God will reward each and every one of us based on our works here on earth.
The unrepentant sinners will receive to themselves damnation while true Christians who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ will receive to themselves eternal life.
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
God is telling us here that everyone will face the judgment seat of Christ to give an account of Himself.
If you are a sinner and you have not repented and possibly made restitution for your sins, you are already in a torture chamber.
My brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, this is the gospel truth, the soul that sinneth it shall die.
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The book of Revelation opens to us the severity of God's judgment on unrepentant sinners. The word of God tells us that heaven and the earth fled away.
Why did the heaven and the earth fled away? It fled away so that the inhabitants of the earth can have no hiding place and face their creator.
God is a terror to evil works but a rewarder of good works. If you are a worker of iniquity; you will definitely flee from the presence of the lord.
People tend to sin recklessly in complete neglect that God is watching them. Sin is an offence towards God and without repentance and possibly making restitution for sin, the soul of the sinner is in imminent danger.
Just because God loves us, it does not mean that He will overlook our transgressions and make us enter into glory without repentance.
If God could overlook our sins, He would have to deny his very nature of being a just and a truthful God. If God fails to punish sin, He would be a liar and His word will not be the gospel truth.
The universal law of God is that sin has to be punished and those who accept Jesus Christ will not see death.
The word of God tells us that I saw the dead, small and great stand before God. This means that God is an impartial God and He will render a just judgment.
You cannot bribe God. Some people ignorantly say that children can never be lost. But in the book of Revelation, we see small children before the great white throne of judgment.
When a child has grown up and can clearly distinguish between good and evil; and the child chooses to do evil, that child will definitely give an account for his or her sins.
Consider the following scripture which instructs parents to discipline their children so that they can save their souls from hell.
If you fail to discipline your children when they have done something wrong, you are failing as a parent.
When a child has done something wrong; you are required by Jesus to correct your child. If you spare the rod you spoil your child. A child must be brought up in the way of the Lord.
Pro 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Pro 23:14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.
In the book of Revelation we see the great before the great white throne of judgment. This are the ministers, kings, the presidents and queens.
The lamb of God does not care about titles, Jesus Christ only cares about the people who do the will of his father.
Any one that sins no matter who the person is, if he or she fails to repent; he or she will surely pay for his or her sins. The word of God tells us that the dead, small and great are found before the throne.
If you die without the blood of Jesus Christ covering your soul there is no life in you. If you do not drink the blood of the lamb and eat his flesh, you are not an eternal being.
It is only through Jesus Christ that we will live for eternity.
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
We see the scriptures telling us that the sea coughed up dead which were in it and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them.
This means the souls that were unsaved that went to hell after death. Hell is a temporary waiting place for the great white throne of judgment.
Unrepentant sinners suffer horribly in hell as they await for the great white throne of judgment.
Repentance can only be attained when a person is still alive, when people are dead mercy cannot be reached anymore.
Every soul in hell has no hope, they can never be reunited with the creator, they are cut off from God for all eternity.
Isa 24:22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
The word of God tells us that anyone who was not found in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Every person that lived on this earth and died went somewhere.
They are either in God's glory or burning in hell as we speak waiting for the great white throne of judgment.
This is the time for you to repent and turn from your sins and come to the lord Jesus Christ and bear good fruits fit for the kingdom of God.
I want you to carefully meditate on where you want to spend your eternity. Do you want to spend eternity in heaven, or do you want to spend eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone.
Sometimes eternity sounds like a story because the human mind cannot comform to the thought of being cut off from God for all eternity and not only separation but wrath.
You have to accept the lord Jesus Christ with your whole heart. Loving what the lord Jesus Christ loves and hating what He hates is an indication that you have accepted Him.
Come to Jesus Christ with a humble and contrite heart and He will impact his Spirit and his nature into your life and your life will show a changed nature.
Holiness is the way to go, the great white throne of judgment is a dangerous place to be if you die as a Christ rejector.
