SALVATION THROUGH JESUS
Salvation is a term which means being saved from damnation or from the wrath to come.
The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is life through Jesus Christ our lord. (Romans 6:23).
The word of God tells us that every man is tempted when he is drawn away with his or her own lust and when lust conceives it brings forth sin and sin when it is finished, it brings forth death.
In the scriptures we see that sin and death go hand in hand. Sin and death are synonymous. In the way of righteousness there is life and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
There is no excuse for sin, the only thing that you can do with sin is to take it to the cross and have it washed by the blood of the lamb.
The word of God tells us that sins are not washed away by the blood of bulls, which means that people in the Old Testament that were sacrificing animals for sin offering, they were only pushing forward for a worthy sacrifice for sin which was Christ.
Heb 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Heb 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Heb 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Heb 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb, by whose blood our sins are blotted out. There is no forgiveness of sin without the blood of the lord Jesus Christ.
Those who are not in Christ Jesus, none of their sins have been washed away.
The word of God tells us that salvation is only possible through Jesus Christ. No man can come to the Father except through the Son. Everyone that does not believe in the Son of God is condemned already.
If you deny Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and you forsake the way of the cross, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The word of God tells us that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to God.
Those who are in Christ Jesus the love of God abides on them. On the contrary, those who deny and reject Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made for them on the cross; the wrath of God abides on them.
Salvation can only be achieved through Jesus Christ.
