SAINTS SHOULD REPROVE SIN
Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
God hates sin. Sin is the antithesis of God.
False teachers tend to tell people that God is vain love and neglect to tell people that our God is a consuming fire and He will not tolerate sin to go unpunished. Consuming fire means that God's nature is to consume sin.
The word of God tells us that God is a terror to the wicked and it is our obligation to warn sinners of the terror that will befall them if they fail to repent.
Knowing therefore the terror of the lord we persuade men to flee from evil.
2Cor 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
Heaven is only meant for people that know God. People that know God are known by how they live their lives and the relationship that they have with Christ.
God cannot punish anyone for good works. God is a terror to evil works but a rewarder of good works.
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
In order for you to be a true saint, you must always reprove sinners who are around or come around you. We should reprove sinners in love in order for them to recover themselves from the snares of death and hell.
When you reprove sin, the burden of repentance falls on the sinner.
If you reprove the sinner and he or she repents you will have succeeded in saving his or her soul from death and you will also have succeeded in hiding a multitude of transgressions.
On the contrary, if you fail to reprove the sinner from the error of his way, if he or she dies in his or her iniquity, you will be accountable for the blood of that sinner.
Sin is hazardous both to the sinner and to the people around him or her. When a person is headed in a direction that you know will lead to his death or destruction, you are supposed to warn him or her.
If you fail to warn him or her it proves that you are disobedient to the word of God and you wanted the sinner do die in his or her sins, it shows no or low regards to the souls of other people.
A lot of Christians go to hell for failing to reprove sin.
Just tell the sinner the right thing, it does not matter whether they curse, reject or accept the message, your mission is to get the word out and let the Holy Spirit take care of the rest.
When a sinner comes around you and you fail to reprove his or her transgressions, you will be made a partaker of his or her sin. The word of God tells us not be partakers of other men’s sins but to keep ourselves pure.
1Ti 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
When sinners go to hell when they die, they tend to complain to God that people did not tell them that what they were doing was offensive.
When you tell them the truth you remove the cloke of their sin and they will be fit for the judgement seat of Christ if they fail to repent.
The lord Jesus Christ said in the bible, if he did not go and preach to the world they would not have sin, but since He went and spoke to them and performed his miraculous works of healing, casting out demons, raising the dead and preaching the good news of salvation and they rejected Him, it was made clear that they hated Him and His father.
Joh 15:22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
Joh 15:23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
Joh 15:24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
The word of God tells us that anyone that does evil hates the light and cannot come to the light lest his deeds should be reproved.
Light and darkness have nothing in common. If you are into a relationship with a sinner and it has existed for for a long time and the sinner is not changing from his or her ways of death, this proves that you are not reproving sin.
When you have a friend who is an unbeliever, when you rebuke his or her sin, they will either change or if they fail to change, they will ask you to depart or they themselves will depart from you.
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Joh 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
When you rebuke sin, the blood of the sinner will be upon his head if he fails to repent, but if you forbear to warn the wicked, and he or she dies in his or her sins, the lord Jesus Christ will require his blood on your head.
Eze 33:1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
Eze 33:3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
Eze 33:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
Eze 33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
Eze 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
Eze 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
Eze 33:8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 33:9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Some of the hindrances that make children of God fail to reprove sin include the following;
Children of God are afraid of losing loved ones because people get mad when you rebuke their sin. Children of God fear being rejected by sinners.
A lot of people will reject you when you speak the truth of the word of God, that is why the bible told us to come out the world and be separate, because nothing good comes out from the world.
1Jn 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
Get ready for people to be demonized when you reprove sin. When you walk righteously and start reproving sin, people will get demonized, get mad and depart from you or tell you to leave.
When you rebuke sin, the demon that is in the sinner derailing him or her from Jesus Christ will get the person mad and make him or her to leave or ask you to leave.
It is not easy to reprove sin, it takes courage and having a strong zeal in our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Reproving sin is what will cause true Christians to be murdered in the end days.
It will reach a time, when you speak the truth about immorality, you will be accused of hate speech and hate speech will cause you to be cast into prison or put to death.
All the pastors that are not reproving sin and are always talking about prosperity with no righteousness, their soul is in danger of eternal damnation as well as their followers.
If you are unequally yoked with a non believer for a long time without him or her repenting, this means that he or she is probably leading you further away from God.
When you fail to reprove sin, you are contributing to new age Christianity, where everything is acceptable.
Homosexuality is acceptable in false religions, but when you rebuke homosexuality and call it an abomination, you deliver your soul from death.
Pro 24:11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Pro 24:12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
God knows our hearts, and He also knows the degree of knowledge that we possess. If you tell God that you did not know that the sinner was perishing; God knows it all, you can’t lie to Him, God is all knowing.
The bottom line is that Christians should always reprove sin for the well being of their soul and others. When you reprove sin you deliver your soul from death and possibly the sinner from death.
Sin is the cause why people go to hell and the cause why Jesus Christ died for us on the cross.
Sin is also the reason why human beings are separated from God.
Brethren in Christ Jesus, get ready for people to mock you with statements such as, you are stupid and ignorant creature, you are foolish, you are a paranoid fool, don't judge me, you are the antichrist, you are a nuiscance, you are a hypocrite and any thing evil that is designed to discourage you from reproving sin.
Be ready to handle this insults because people will hate you when you reprove their sin. Reprove sin always if you love the sinner and also if you care about your soul. (Saints Should Reprove Sin).
