HOW TO PRAY
Greetings my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I hope you are fine and you are of sound mind.
This topic about prayer may seem simple and easy but it has turned out to be complicated because a lot of people pray in a wrong way which God does not appreciate.
When you pray, you are supposed to be of a humble heart and a contrite spirit before the Lord.
The word of God tells us that God resists the proud but he uplifts the humble. Let your joy be turned into tears when you go before the presence of the Lord.
Psa 138:6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
God deserves the utmost respect. We must remember to genuinely seek repentance from God for all the sins we have committed against Him.
We must seek forgiveness from the bottom of our hearts. Giving the Lord Jesus Christ lip service is not repentance, with all our earnest hearts we must repent.
Cry out to God to forgive you your sins. We deceieve ourselves, God the Almighty sees through us. The Lord Jesus knows whether you are earnestly repenting or whether you are giving him lip service.
The word of God says that God the Almighty is a Spirit and those that worship Him must do so in Spirit and in truth.
Jehovah God throughout the ages is gathering to himself a generation of true worshipers who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Another factor you should consider while praying is that your prayer should be directed to God. Your prayer should go to the father in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Your prayer should not go to saints such as Mary, angels, demons, Satan, idols or anything else.
A lot of people are burning in hell as we speak because of worshiping and praying to saints. When you call on saints during prayer, you are committing an act of necromancy or classified occultism.
Necromancy is the practice of communicating with the dead.
When you want to talk to God, communicate with God directly because the Lord Jesus Christ told us that the father loves us. Roman Catholics who worship Mary go to hell because of calling on saints.
Catholics love praying and interceding through Mary.
The act of calling on saints is an occultic act. Do not pray to Mary. Calling on Mary will conjure up demons anywhere you are; whether you are in the house or in the field.
God is offended when Roman Catholics say Hail Mary and ask Mary to intercede for them. The Roman Catholic Church does not follow the word of God.
The word of God tells us that there is only one mediator between the father and humanity and that is the man Christ Jesus.
1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
The lord Jesus Christ is our advocate. The bible does not tell people to pray to Mary and ask Mary to pray for them.
If you are a Roman Catholic you have joined a group that does not follow the teachings of the bible and it will land you in hell. Praying to saints is a sin.
No unrepentant Roman Catholic will escape the just punishment of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ told us that when we pray we should say our father, not hail Mary, not to pray to angels, not to pray to demons, not to pray to saints and so forth.
Roman Catholics worship demons because demons are attached to idols.
They worship a principality that they call Mary in the pit because demons are attached to idols. When you worship and talk to an idol you are actually talking to demons, because demons are attached to idols.
Praying to angles is a sin, praying to saints is a sin, praying to demons or the devil is a sin. When you pray talk to your father in heaven in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
When you pray, say our father for this is pleasing to God. Check out this scripture on what the Lord Jesus Christ told us in regards to prayer.
Luk 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
Luk 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Luk 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
Luk 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Your prayer should always be directed to God in the name of Jesus Christ for this is pleasing to God.
