ANGELS AROUND SAINTS
Psa 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
The word of God is encouraging us here on the benefits of fearing God and keeping his commandments.
A person who fears God keeps the commandments, while a person who lacks the fear of God breaks the commandments of God.
Because the lord Jesus Christ loves those that love him, he protects them from the evil one, so that they are not harmed by the wicked one.
The word of God is telling us here about angels who are around genuine Christians to protect them in times of trouble.
True Christians cannot be slain by the devil or his agents unless the lord Jesus Christ has approved it.
There is nothing that can happen to true Christians without God's permission.
Peter was locked up in prison but the angel of the lord delivered him. Paul and Silas were locked in prisons but they were delivered also from prisons.
John the Baptist was slain but God the almighty allowed it so that he could come back home.
John the Baptist was slain because his mission and his calling was to prepare for the coming of the son of God and since he had completed his mission faithfully, it was time that he returned to his creator.
John the baptist was preparing people for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ by preaching repentance and baptizing them for the remission of their sins.
If God's purpose for your life or the mission that God intended for you to accomplish is not fulfilled, you will not die no matter what the devil or his children do.
There is nothing that can happen to genuine Christians that is beyond God’s control. Paul the apostle was stoned, but he did not die.
When the saints and apostles surrounded Paul he came back to life. There is nothing that the devil can do to God's children that is out of God's control.
Everything that happens to believers whether good or bad is by God's approval and by divine will of God.
Therefore we as children of God, should not fear what the devil and his children do or say because we are not alone.
We have guardian angels that are given to us by God to protect us because we love the lord our God and we have made him our refuge.
Everything that happens to us is by divine will. If you are a true child of God, you have angels around you, just the same as true churches of God have angels assigned to them by our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
God the Almighty knows each and everything about us and everything that is about to happen to us even in the next second and each and every detail about our future.
The Almighty God is called the omniscient which means that He is all knowing.
The bible is telling us here that God will send his angels when you are in dangerous situations to protect you from death or harm.
For example when you want to fall off a cliff or if you fall off a cliff, the Lord will send his angels to protect you and hold you up in their hands so that you do not break your leg after dashing it against a stone.
God can only protect you with his angels if you do not tempt him, the situation has to be unexpected and accidental.
If you tempt the Lord Jesus Christ, he will live you on your own, but if the situation was planned by the devil and his agents God promises to protect his saints with his angels.
This kind of protection and promise is not guaranteed to reprobates. If you are a sinner and a Christ rejector, the devil can easily kill you because you are not guaranteed this kind of protection.
Remember the case of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego when they were thrown into a furnace of fire and one of the sons of God came and delivered them and none of them or their clothing's was scorched by the flames, but the people who threw them died because the flames were exeedingly hot.
Dan 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Dan 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
Dan 3:20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
Dan 3:21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Dan 3:22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Dan 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Dan 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
Dan 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Remember the case of Daniel when he was thrown into the den of lions and the Lord Closed the mouths of the beasts and they did not harm him, but the people who were backstabbing him, when they were thrown into the den of lions, they were devoured by the lions ruthlessly before they reached the bottom of the pit.
Dan 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
Dan 6:17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
Dan 6:18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
Dan 6:19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
Dan 6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
Dan 6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
Dan 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Dan 6:23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
Dan 6:24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.
Brethren in Christ Jesus if you want to enjoy protection from the Lord God himself and protection from the holy angels, live righteously in Christ Jesus and keep the commandments and God’s promises regarding his protection in your life will come into fruition.
If you are living contrary to the will of God and you are always reproaching God daily, then God’s protection in your life cannot be guaranteed.
Daniel was delivered from the den of lions by God and his adversaries after being thrown into the den of lions were devoured ruthlessly.
Let us learn to fear God and keep his commandments and not only will we be protected by God’s holy angles, we will also be rewarded with eternal life in heaven.
Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psa 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psa 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
